As I mentioned in a previous post, I recently submitted an essay to an online magazine. I was told it wouldn’t be published this month due to space. However, this morning, as I was scrolling through Facebook, I saw my name. Then I checked my email and read a note telling me a spot had opened up and my essay would be published today. It’s a bit surreal!

Congrats, Anne! And what a beautiful essay, too. We’re so down on ourselves for the things are bodies can’t do like we think they should do and we can spend so much time on this, but I am glad that you’re able to see that there are way more things that your body can do. There is life in so many things!
